Burritt in collaboration with Huntsville Traditional Music Association, bring monthly Outdoor Coffeehouse Concerts. March – September, HTMA will bring a variety of musicians to the Isenberg Gazebo at Burritt. Coffeehouses start at 7pm, Gates open at 6pm. Cash bar and light snacks, along with a limited number of charcuterie boxes will be available for purchase. Charcuterie boxes are $30 and feeds 2-4 people. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate.

Explore History: Native Americans of Alabama Saturday, May 7th 10:00 – 4:00 Come explore the history and culture of the Native Americans of Alabama. You will enjoy discovering which tribes lived in Alabama when settlers moved here, watching American Indian artisans as they demonstrate their traditional crafts, and hearing the stories of some of the specific Cherokee families that lived in our area.
Join us for this special workshop brought to you in partnership with the Alabama Folklife Association! Charlie Mato-Toyela will teach students about the history of Cherokee flute making and then guide the class as they make a traditional Cherokee whistle.
Burritt on the Mountain in collaboration with Encore Opera presents Opera on the Mountain - Jack and the Beanstalk Tuesday, May 10th 10:00-12:30 This family friendly event will introduce visitors to opera thanks to this delightful performance of Jack & the Beanstalk presented by Opera Huntsville. The show tells the story of Jack and his mother and teaches an important life lesson. This outside event is designed for adults and students ages 5 and up but is available to the public. Come enjoy a wonderful performance and experience the beautiful view from the Burritt Bluff.
