Join us for an evening of fun and folklife at our Folk School PreView! Held during Burritt’s “Cocktails on the View,” students will participate in a two hour introductory class taught by Folk School instructor, Kay Lenard, and enjoy cocktails and appetizers while creating their own suncatcher.
Students will decorate their heart in the colors and shapes of their choice. Students will use a technique called "on edge" quilling. This technique is easy to learn and no experience is required. Includes a shadow box frame.
In this intermediate class, students will continue to expand on wire wrapping skills by learning more intricate techniques with specific tools on a more detailed project. Students will create 3 bangle bracelets using sterling silver and 14kt gold fill wires.
Come and join us for a four hour class learning traditional soda making techniques using foraged ingredients. Each student will leave with 3-4 bottles of traditional soda and a ginger bug.
